We host and attend demonstrations for local elementary and middle schools, Maker Faires and nearby events. We bring one of our robots and show it to any of the audience and answer questions to any interested people. Depending on the event, we bring other resources such as EV3 Mindstorm Kits to help spread FLL to interested students.

Sunset Elementary STEAM Night

We’re grateful to be annually invited to this event, hosted by the teachers for students and families of their community!

California Academy of Sciences Teen Science Night

Hosted in August and 100% youth-run, the annual Teen Science Night showcases youth projects across the Bay Area, with CardinalBotics as a recent addition! Keep an eye out for their next date to see our most current robot in action and have a chance to speak with our members one on one about robotics, FIRST, and how to get involved!

Denman Middle School STEAM Night

An impressive showcase of student work from in the classroom, with clubs and in their FIRST FLL teams. Our members love engaging with students and families, gaining interest in robotics and showing students the next step of FIRST Robotics!

Aptos Middle School FLL Team

In 2022, our team held an FRC and FLL demonstration at Aptos Middle School. As the alma mater of some of our members, we reached out to help integrate robotics extracurriculars into their school for interested students. FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a FIRST program for middle school level, LEGO Robotics. After a successful after school demo, we’ve been working with the teachers to set up and run the FLL Team.

8th Grade and Back to School Nights

As one of Lowell High School’s biggest resources, our members hold a booth every 8th Grade and Back to School Night. We demonstrate our most current robot as many students’ first taste of robotics. Please keep a look out for CardinalBotics’ booth at these events! Our members are always open to answering any questions families may have about CardinalBotics, FIRST Robotics and Lowell High School!

Lowell Alumni Association Reunion Demo

We greatly appreciate all the support Lowell’s Alumni Association has given us. As a thank you for our strong 12 year partnership, we hosted a robotics demo for their Class of ‘76 Reunion. Our members were excited to show off our program’s progression since our establishment in 2011, and we had an amazing time engaging and learning from a range of Alumni!
