Bio: My name is Kenny Zhen and I was a member of CardinalBotics from it's conception in 2011 to my senior year in 2014. I was Secretary for two years in 2012-2014 and also the Vice President of Organization in Spring of 2014. Joining robotics was one of the best decisions of my high school career. I learned many useful skills including proper use of power tools, designing and building intricate robotics parts, effective fundraising strategies, persuasive communication skills with adults and parents, and leading peers and students in different projects. Robotics was incredibly fun. My fondest memory was winning the Engineering Inspiration Award at the FIRST Robotics Competition Sacramento Regional in 2014. Long story short, I was so excited about our victory that I filmed my reaction, which consisted of a lot of "thank you very much", screams, and high fives!"

What they are doing now: Currently, I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.
